    Awarded to outstanding AI research work. Out of 21575 submissions, only 77 got an oral (less than 0.4%). I was co-first lead author on the awarded paper 'A Clean Slate for Offline Reinforcement Learning'.

    iGEM 2019 Boston Jamboree
    Due to our performance, documentation and produced device we were able to receive a nomination as the best diagnostics project in the international Jamboree of iGEM. The team fulfilled the requirements for a Gold medal but certain miscommunications led to the Silver being awarded.

    4th Joint Symposium on Social Robotics
    I was part of a team of three members that used Leap Motion sensor and Leap Motion API to develop a system that mirrored hand, forearm and wrist movements into a 3D printed InMoov robotic arm. The project involved both the assembly of the robotic arm and the development of the corresponding software and hardware components of the sensor-controller-arm Servos communication.

    First Place Winner of the Explore Mars Competition - Engineering Track
    Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre
    In collaboration with Prof. Philip Paniker of NYU, I designed a high and low camber airfoil along with a Thorium reactor for manned planes that can be used to explore Mars in a sustainable way. This consisted in a Molten Salt Reactor that would take advantage of non-weaponizable elements like Thorium that can be found both on Earth and Mars and are safe from leakage due to their instant clogging capabilities.

    I was part of a team that designed a modular wristwatch called SET (Self-Assisting Technologies) that served as a sensor platform for people of various physical disabilities. Different sensors would be mounted on the wrist microcontroller and assist people with special needs in their daily tasks by increasing their circumstantial awareness and safety.
