Theoretical model of Molten Salt Reactor with ANSYS Fluent simulation for Mars exploration aircraft

This is the first project of my undergraduate research career and it proposes a theoretical model of Molten Salt Reactor and an ANSYS Fluent simulation. The chosen fuel and the plane design were meant to enhance low speed travel and exploration. Thorium was chosen due its inability to be weaponized and its abundance both on Earth and Mars. The plane is meant to push humanity to a new age of exploration and sustainable living on a terraformed Mars.

Mars exploration aircraft design with Molten Salt Reactor propulsion system and ANSYS Fluent simulation results.
